How do the numbers crunch
Our new controller without a doubt will improve performance beyond belief. Monetary cost savings, equipment longevity and customer or tenant satisfaction. We list below some of the savings.
Passenger Ride will be equivalent to a modern elevator. Smooth take off and a smooth stop. No bumpy or jerky starts and stops. Add a new door controller and a splash of paint, you will have a new elevator without the cost of a new elevator.
Equipment will last longer. No sudden starts and stops will mean a softer work load for all of the elevator equipment. If you can imagine what happens when the elevator does a sudden brake stop. (as in a lot of older elevator installations) The drive motor is spinning at full revs with the elevator running, the brake slams on, the gearbox suddenly stops, the drive bed shudders on its foundations, the elevator ropes jerk, the elevator car bounces on the end of the suspension ropes, the passengers cringe and lot of other forces come into play. With our new controller that's all gone, ultimately the elevator will without a doubt last longer. Cutting down maintenance costs for a start and more reliable equipment.
Power Savings are also made. With the new controller's smooth startup, there is no massive
starting power surge and the power factor is minimized close to the actual elevator drive motor power factor.
If your building electrical installation has a maximum demand meter resulting you paying penalties for this
type on power metering, then you are on to a money saving winner and in the power factor issue you only pay
for the power you use, not the penalty power.

Fault Monitoring can now be logged for performance and downtime analyzed. This information can be used for preventative maintenance. No longer have sudden stoppages at the wrong time. Program in maintenance at low work periods or out of hours work. Programmed maintenance can save $$$$ if done with a past history of problems. Predict future sudden downtimes and repair prior to the stoppage. Sound futuristic, no, future downtimes can be predicted with simple formulas armed with equipment history.
Remote Monitoring to our main offsite databases and 24/7 live personnel keep your elevator running with maximum uptime. Rapid response to faults or downtime from your nominated service company. Live streaming data available from your building elevators (broadband connection required). All you need is a standard web browser to view.
Save face in power outages. Add our battery rescue package and the problem of your tenant stuck in the lift in the event of a building power outage are also eliminated. The elevator continues at rescue speed to the nearest floor and opens the doors, letting the traveling passengers out. The elevator then remains at the stopped floor with the doors open. Elevator service resumes once power is restored.
